Created in 1992 , a husband and wife team with an eye and passion for creating the perfect image. The first photography studio was opened in 1996 and have been specialising in creating stunning wedding albums & contemporary lifestyle portraits. A qualified member of the Master Photographers Association, and producing award winning photography, you can be sure that a high level of professionalism and quality are guaranteed.

In 2009 David was awarded runner up as UK Wedding Photographer of the Year & swept the board at the Annual British Professional Photography Awards for the North West area, winning the prestigious title of Professional Photographer of the year,Wedding Album of the year & Wedding Photographer of the year for the second year along with 16 other awards in both wedding & portrait photography & Jane winning her catagory & being awarded her Gold Award in wedding photography.

Covering all UK and International locations with an emphasis on a fun and relaxed style of photography with two photographers to capture all the detail. Classic Photography specialise in the reportage storybook style of photography, offer all designs and sizes of Wedding Albums from the traditional presentation, to the popular magazine style. All albums are bespoke and designed by you; after all it’s your wedding album.

In a recent interview, Lead Photographer and proprietor David A. Stanbury when asked what his secret is, stated :

'It’s just seeing, at least the photography I love. You either see or you don’t the rest is academic. Anyone can snap a picture but its how you organise what you see that makes the Image. All the equipment in the world doesn’t compensate for the inability to see.'

'The easiest way to photograph someone having fun is for them actually to be having fun', continues David, 'why interrupt and force your will on anybody, the photographs will appear, all you have to do is be ready for them.'
